I like 'em. But don't buy one yet. 2009 model year is already getting a re-design, so no need buying the current model. There is also word that the new one actually gets engine choices including a hybrid...and better yet a DIESEL! The new Accord diesel coming out gets 54 MPG out of a 2.2. With a diesel 1.5 in the Fit...mileage could be up to 65-70.

American Honda is recalling 34,300 examples of the 2007 and 2008 model year Fit subcompact to replace a faulty wiring harness.

The possible fault concerns a sensor that keeps the airbags from deploying when a child occupies the front passenger seat."
