When the head gasket was replaced all the belts were too. I'm wondering about the Idle Stop Solenoid now, the car will diesel like hell when shut off so I'm thinking it might have something to do with that. I can't find any information on the solenoids for testing them yet.

Did pull the Solenoid off the car and put power to it, its free moving inside, but does not totally block off the flow when power is cut. I think this is a bad part. Not sure if it will cause all of the problems associated or not. For $22 from Autozone I'll give it a shot and let you know what I find out Troux
