You can still clearly hear the bass whether or not the windows are up.

My friend just got one of these tickets, his system is pretty loud, but it was only up halfway. My single 10" sub was louder then his system was at the time, but the cop that got him claimed he radared the distance @ 111FT away he could hear it.
