I'll ask him about the tranny, that is not a VIN on the block man, it is the Honda Production Number. It is possible to run the number, but only on american motors and you have to start with the original car's vin #. Using American Honda's database for Vehicle information you type in the vin number and the motor number, tranny number, radio code, key code, pcm code, immobilizer code and a host of other things are available...but the motor was from a salvage vehicle and the car is years gone. It was scrapped to Gagels, so he doesn't have the VIN to look it up. Otherwise, I can just look it up in the Honda Database. I am sure he could give you a bill of sale, might have the receipt from Gagels.
