I wouldn't suggest it for the street. Suspension and ground clearence are there for a reason, you are going to scrape over every little bump, let alone what will happen when you ride over a rail road crossing, uneven cross street, sewer cover, speed bump, etc. Then again, I have seen people that don't care when they are shooting sparks every 100 yards, so to each there own I guess. Just remember it is very easy to lose control if you are leaned over even a little bit and lose traction because you bottom out.
