look in the engine bay and see how many nuts, screws, bolts have been rubbed, messed with, worn off.

this will let youknow if the car was crazy modded, or if somehting was done in there.

the transmission have little to no play while it is in gear. and the shifts shoul dbe smooth and crisp.
