I dont see the need for zip ties. Im pretty sure you could make it fit to the factory mounting points with bolts.

my huge ebay intercooler sits perfect on the mounting tabs even has the stock rubber mounts too.

I had to shorten the pipe the connects to the Y. before it was rubbing my hood and pissing me off.
