I've used the GM Maf with MAF-Translator to run 35+ psi. We even set a record of 597 hp at one point with the stock ecu. It drove around like a stock.
Ecu development will eventually reach the point to be able to use a map sensor. I think the main issues will be having a signal for IAT and Baro sensor.
Thats the pull you did at Buschur's right?Wasnt it like stock block or turbo?
