How would having a motor that would sit further past your front crosmember/ suspension help with the center of gravity? And what motor do you have to bash the fire wall in to get it to fit, unless you want to sit it back as far as possible, and if thats the case I6 is the wrong way to go.
Do what im doing, GT28RS turbo KA (275hp max) with a 4.36 f/d and a good clutch.
RB20s at least sit farther back than the 4 bangers do. The overall length is greater but there is more motor behind the centerline (as opposed to the 4 cyl).
