A quote from Vicki Butler-Henderson about the Javan's handling "On the goodwood racetrack the R1 was skittish at the best of times.....instead of feeling well planted and secure, as 100mph came and went the R1 mimicked the mating dance of a frenzied fly, doing a poor job of finding grip".

I'm just saying, "killing" a Exige on track is a lofty goal that I don't think the R1 can achieve.
I hear ya man,but ck this out.
1/ The Lotus Elise/Exige is now an old design, having been first sold
in the UK around 1994. The Javan design is current hi-tech thinking, and
it's track performance would bear that out.
2/ The track test done by Vickie Butler-Henderson, was carried out in
pouring rain on a water logged track. The car was Prototype #1, set up
for dry conditions. She was soaked and miserable about the whole deal,
which possibly accounted for her comments!
A well known German Porsche driver said that the car was just how he
liked it - a little bit twitchy and really responsive, but possibly too
racecar like for the average good driver. So the front A-arms and
uprights were re-designed, so that the car is now no longer twitchy , but
just as responsive.

3/Does the Lotus have Horizontal Suspensions ?
