you are also half right. at 60 mph (way below what any of us would normally do on the highway) the natural flow of air is about 5,280cfm, at 70 mph it goes up to 6,160 cfm and at 80 it goes up to 7,040 cfm. still far more than the average flexalite setup or even a (gasp) clutch fan.
which is why the fan is most important in traffic.
I also like the e-fan idea because whatever little race you're gonna do is going to be over in a minute. Run the fan before, and after but not during. I've yet to see a car go from operating temp to overheating in under 30 seconds.
Now, for the longer races, hopefully you are going fast enough that a fan isn't really needed.
I perfer the clutch fan though if you deal with traffic a lot.
