Ink... I own an SV650s. I also own a Z1000 and compared to my Z1000 the SV650 feels anemic @ WOT.

I've ridden with a bunch of guys on here with liter bikes... ??? is one of them, and his ZX10 made my Z1000 (which makes around 130hp & 70ftlb torque) look anemic as I watched him chase after 2 Turbo Busas...

Personally, If I were you I would have kept the SV650 longer, maybe till you got used to its acceleration. Its all about timing and reflezes and yours sound like they need a bit of experience.

I won't go any further as to how capable the SV is since you sold it... but I will say any of todays 600's will exceed the acceleration of the SV ten fold. They can be just as dangerous as a liter bike in the wrong hands.

Ride with your head & not your wrist... don't ever think you can over compensate for your lack of skill with a faster bike, cause quite frankly the bikes don't do shit on their own... it's the riders who make them quick.
