really? I've always been able to stand beside my bike and blip the throttle and it rev and go tback to idle fairly quickly without needing to roll it there. The throttle tubes usually get gunk packed between them, just take the throttle off the handle bar and clean it well. BTW, the 'silicone' shit you saw BAMF was most likely grip glue from the last persons install of the grips. If you arent careful you get that ish gunked between the throttle tube and handlebar and its gets all naRsty. While you have the throttle off take the time to lube the throttle cable. Take some chain lube (if you dont have this go get some meow ) and squirty a bit onto the bare cable and try to get it to flow down inside the sheathing. Then work the cable in and out with your hands and keep applying more chain lube. Your trying to get the lube to go all the down the cable the best you can. If you wanna get technical you can remove the entire cable and itll make it easier but thats another hour of fing with shit to get to the other side of it probably

If that doesnt work, just jizz on it, should lube it right up.
