I had the same problem with my throttle as well. I took the housing apart that connected to the throttle and found chunks of silicone or something that were sprayed in there. I cleaned them out, cleaned off the old grease, regreased it with new good stuff, made sure everything was in the grooves properly, and everything worked fine from there. Pretty much dissassemble, clean, and reassemble it.
