Your problem is you need to be patient. IMO, the convention shouldn't be a priority. Patience is the key. When you rush things, you WILL fuck something up. Be patient with the car and the build up. You will be much happier taking your time and having an awesome end result then you would be if you all you did was rush to get things done for the convention and end up having a lot of little shit go wrong and endless bugs plauging you because you rushed into things. Ask Al about rushing his first motor. We dropped it in the car in a hurry and because of that he ran into some stupid issues. Kept being plagued by issues. IMO, do the 300SX, just be patient and don't set any target dates.....it'll be finished when you finish it.
