the first shot you can see the lip actually shine a little.
I know its more work and money but you could always get those holes tacked and just knock the tacks down with a dyna file same thing on the lip if their is curbage you dont really need to weld but it's amazeing what the wizar (scotchbrite) discs with do to clean and make uniform again
