Its one of those things that Chuck talks about. Traffic laws are supposed to be about safety. Realistically is there a reason for laws against modified exhausts, loud stereos, other than serving someone's own preference? No, neither can realistically be thought of as safety violations.

I mean, shit, you can have all your assets seized for any number of reasons, but they can't take your car. Are you going to let them start taking your car for stereo violations now?
