be warned, it is not easy to change out. you have to drop the rear subframe, disconnect the brake lines and such. plus drain the tank. I helped when we did Rinku's and it was a bitch, even with six people and the lift at McDill AFB's shop lift. the labor if done buy a dealer would be around $1,000. I called for quotes. maybe the S13 is easier, dunno, Rinku's was a S14. Search and you will fing the thread with pictures and instructions. Good Luck.

S14 are plastic tanks
S13 are metal

I took my S14's tank out in 8 hrs (2 peeps), usually takes only 5hrs, if you know what you're doing. Whoever quoted you for $1k on labor is absurd, especially for a shop.
S13 fuel tanks are much easier to remove because its so obvious why.
Look at marine shops or boat salvage yards for used/new plastic or aluminum fuel tanks.
Go with alum. tanks cause it's baller
