Well I make my post like I'm dealing with a customer. If a customer comes in and tells me "I want a 300hp dsm and have nothing but cash how much will it cost" I can't really go "well if I find this part for this cost and that part for free from jimbo bob" to give him a quote. I can only give a quote based on new parts or if anything I have used laying around I know a price for.

Therefor like I stated you will be hard pressed to have a 300hp DSM with new parts for under $3000.

Trust me no one on here wants to know the types of deals I have had in the past and then think they can do the same. A lot has to deal with luck and who you know.

I didn't want to be misleading in my post that will end up causing the OP nothing but heart ache and wallet ache at the end of his venture, I'm trying to WARN him of this happening.
