This little tidbit is hidden in the small print, but it takes the ball out of OSW's court so to speak, and puts it squarely into the drivers hands. Shady tactic, but it's used by almost ALL tracks. If it wasn't, the tracks could be sued for millions and would not exist at all. When was the last time I actually got out of my car before staging to check the track? Never.
I walk the starting line area when I get to the track but that can change when the next car goes down and leaks something. And who knows what it is like down track. Of course the tracks have you sign away any liability or people would make a living out of suing them.
I have never seen the OSW disclosure because I have and will never run there as long as the current management / owners are there.
