The Cube was a 3 cyl 4stroke... didn't last very long & they had great riders in Colin & Haga. The bike was a failure, and they opted to pull out and recoup their losses to return...

I am glad to see them return to WSBK rather than MotoGP. Of late, I am getting as bored with it as I am with F1.

My only concern is that the almighty Honda ran a V4 bike in the 90's and it turned out to be a money pit, achieving only 1 WSBK title in their run of the RC45.

I hope Aprilia can do better. And I hope that they land a top rider in 09... Maybe Edwards will return & force Bayliss to not retire... Bayliss has said Edwards return to WSBK would be the only way he'd stay... we'll see.
