Ok. I am able to get the cluster out in less than 15 minutes now....


Stupid wire`ing gremlin.... I have a short, and keep blowing a fuse. this fuse controls all of the gauges, and the window switches. (6th fuse from the bottom right)

it is fed by a Green/white wire. I can not fine the short. i have had it all torn down 3 times now. put it back together, and it will work anywhere from 20 seconds to 20 miles on the road till the fuse blows... I think the means to an end will be me pulling the dash out.... So dont want to.

So the last time i put it back together, the 60mph Chime started working... I am told this is th metal black box on the back of the cluster, i just ook it off, and i am wondering if this is true, befor i put it back together, and have to drive 400 freeway miles at speeds faster than 63....
