Im not tryin to hurt your feelings or anything here, but you should consider asking something reasonable being its a 60* V6, even rebuilt, $1000 is just something nobody is going to pay unless you find a sucker.

Try posting it on thirdgen.org in the FS section, there are some kids on there still determined to make their car a "fast" v6.
