Yea... PG has a very small area that is very nice and the rest is like one giant dump. I'll actually be in PG County on Tue doing work at the new Gaylord National Hotel & Convention center. It blows my mind that they are dumping 100's of millions into the new National Development project that is part of PG county, when they can't seem to control crime.

The real issue has been that the gentrification of DC has forced them from DC to PG County and while DC crime has gone down, a direct result is that PG goes up.

PG has always been huge with street racing, the cops can never be bothered to deal with the scene when they are already over worked with the violent crimes that plauge the area.
