Couldn't be cam timing because this issue just cropped up. The heads were off once before with the same cam in and this issue was non existant.

The bottom of the valves, pistons, and plugs all look good so that is why I am stumpped.

I used to tear down our Sprint car motors and never came across this.

Anyone else ?
