ok -thanks for the help !

I disconnected it and tried closing it manually but nothing.
Also i held the trunk release button down and is sounds like it is working. The only thing i could think is the spring load looks it could be loose. I googled the problem and didnt really find anything!!! this blows thank god it's top heavy and looks closed.. lol
