Ok so it was spinning, obviously it's going to. He would have caught up to him by the time he got it into second gear. I spin all the time through first gear, and even sometimes through the beginning of second, but it's not like you stay in one spot and spin without moving.
I understand you guys wouldn't know anything about spinning through gears because you drive ~180 HP civics with no torque, but that's what happens.
And again, he would not have beaten a c4 vette unless there was something wrong with it. The Vette would be in the mid 200's like I said before, and have way more torque than the civic.. I think like 280-300?
reading this guys posts had me rolling on floor. I kept thinking "this sounds like highschool racing logic", and sure enough he is only 18. You guys, including myself, should have saw this earlier, it would have saved you alot of time arguing. this kid obviously has very little or no track experience, or racing experience. If he did he wouldnt be saying these things. he has no clue about power to weight, no clue about driver mod, no clue about tires, and no clue about different car's capabilities. he needs to spend alot of time and track and on the street before he continues to make himself look stupid.
