They are RWD cars, he is a FWD.. that automatically puts him at a disadvantage when it comes to launching. The second disadvantage is that he has ~180 HP (HE THINKS) .. the GTO has 400, and has 3 times as much torque.
I can't beleive we are arguing about this.. You guys must not have any knowledge of cars, this is basic stuff.
Being a FWD car, when he accelerates the weight will all transfer to the rear tires.
Unless you guys are saying that by winning "out of the hole" he was the first one to hit the accelerator, there is no way he would outlaunch either of these 2 cars.
Once again, hes was on Drag Radials. The gto was spinning because he was on street tires. The mustang was also spinning but he was on DR's, and the c4 is an auto on street tires. All far races just for fun. The car gets out of the hole whats so hard to under about this. Its not hard to get it threw your head.
