Sup, I don't really know shit about Mitsu cars because I am a Nissan fanatic. I could probably find this answer if I did some research but I thought it would be quicker to ask the pros here.

Is the Mitsu Lancer EVO engines the same as the Eclipse GST engines? What are the differences other than the all-wheel drive transmission of course?

I do know the EVO engine has a higher HP output. Do people swap the EVO engine into the Eclipse at all or is it best to just upgrade the GST engine and it will do the same thing?
