What makes a front mount a front mount:

Size/Height/Width/Length
Quality of welds
Material used
Craftsmanship
Style: I.E Bar and plate or tube and fin

Honestly I dont see any diffrence between somthing you get off ebay and a 1000$ greddy. Some of the ebay intercoolers are junk but as long as they got enough pictures to back up there product (pics of welds, inside pics, and size dimension/material) i see no diffrence but a price tag and a name. My instructor ran a ebay intercooler with 38pnds of boost with no problems.

You also want to fit an intercooler to what works for your setup, smaller the intercooler the less pressure drop. If your only running 8pnds why do you need an intercooler that takes up your entire front bumper. Think about it as an empty glass, it takes longer to fill up a small glass if you pour water in it from another glass, but if you spray it with a hose it fills up fast as shit. More pressure requires a larger capacity intercooler, less pressure means its going to take longer for it to fill up that giant intercooler causing more pressure drop and lack of response.
