I was backing up the other day, and wasn't able to see a concrete barrier behind me (below line of sight) and crunched up my bumper pretty good. I don't think it's repairable

So, instantly my thoughts ran to the JDM bumper (heres on BBY)





Its not a direct bolt on though. The stock crash beam won't work, either a custom one must be fabbed, or modify the original

Custom one is like 350 bucks. Any welder can mod the factory one for cheap, but its questionable as to whether its still effective. Some argue its pointless to have one at all but i am not convinced on that either.

The next issue is the exhaust, which some fit, some must be modified. I have a thermal exhaust (oval type cannister) that I'm pretty sure I'd have to modify it so the tip doesn't stick out too far. Then paint it black b/c I don't like the way all that bling looks - i like to ride under the radar as much as possible, so this won't do


Then I gotta tackle paint, which I hear is not an easy one to match (BBY)

I dunno I'm just looking for a little guidance here. I'm not even sure I want the bumper b/c its much flashier than USDM, and thus, calls more attention.
