I give you an Idea, the tires on the car which have turned from bridgestones to bridgeROCKS. were driven on, Sebring 2 track days, 18,000 road miles did time attack on the following tracks.
Pocono East,
Mid Ohio
Hallett
Miller
Pueblo
Mid America
South Bend Motor speedway
and
Moroso
I rarely autocross anymore, but I do rallycross and organize road rallies,
I also instruct
with PCA and a few other clubs, so. I go through 12-16 tires every year.
Take a look at the Federal RS-R it should be a bit faster then either the hankook or the azenis, the RS was close but was designed to be more forgiving so your average drifter could "hang them out"
Federal is doing what Falken did 10 years ago, changing their image by putting lots of resources into building a class leading tire. if it's priced like a federal I'm all over it.
here is the deal, they are 1 month out, I have to drive on my maypops for another 30 days, unless you have some pull.
Here is a good shot of them, you can also see they allready have their DOT stamp so are legal for US sales.
