I am sorry to see that happened. I still think if you were given proper training, and some shop time, you could probably become a good fabricator/installer. I have never seen anyone take as much razzing as you do here but you just keep going out there and going at it. If you really love this type of work that much, you should get some schooling and get into the field. As far as $2300, what year of the Kelly Blue Book were you quoting out of? I am a car dealer-they might cut you a check for about $750 at most-seriously. And that is just valuing by the year/make/model. They take a bunch of other crap into consideration that basically equals a really sorry payout. Good luck with it though.
