Try this. Go to a FFL gun shop ask them to see if you are able to buy a gun to run a background. They are only able to call Tallahassee with a completed application which has model and serial #'s on it. State of Florida DOES collect the info if purchased through a FFL dealer, If you buy a gun through an individual, you are not required to register it to own or carry concealed.
