For my purposes and intended uses for the car (auto-x and the occasional drag strip visit) I didn't see the need to go with a FMIC and have to deal with the resulting pressure drop.

The length of the pipe on the TMIC just can't be beat. I mean it is a little more then 12" from the turbo to the intercooler and only 2" from the intercooler to the intake manifold
