Default HELP - Squeeking clutch

This was in Nissan/"Infiniti" Tech but since its not a 240 SR20.... you get the point.
Im driving a G35 but seems like a pretty universal question. My clutch is squeeking when i release the pedal from the floor. You can feel it in the pedal and hear it inside but its 5 times louder outside the car. Sounds like its coming from the firewall area, maybe where the cable goes through the firewall. Now the weird part, it only does it on cooler mornings and the humidity has to be high. I took it in for service a couple days ago. I just got a call from Lokey Infiniti, they say my clutch is on its way out..... but its squeeking. No slipping, no grinding.... Any ideas? It sounds like the cable is rubbing on a rubber grommet on the firewall or something..... but only acting up on cool humid mornings? If the clutch is going out, it would act up all the time.
HELP!!
