Default I believe I am screwing up... need direction...

So... I fig'd I would get a compressor some air tools and a hvlp gun and paint my car. I asked my fiancee for x-mas for a compressor. We got a
1.5 running HP 30 gallon compressor and tank 6 cfm @ 40psi and 4 cfm @ 90 psi. It's made by HUSKY item # 835-522. I am thinking that the CFM will not be able to run a decent HVLP gun but I've seen what is advertised as extremely low air requirement on some HVLP guns. Is this something to stay away from when painting a car? At first I was gunna do the $50 roll on paint and I still may if this shit doesn't come out how I hope. I guess what I am asking is do I have a lil better than a snowballs chance in hell with this equipment or should I just give up before I try?

Now, I do realize it might take a few tries before my painting skills do develope I just want to know that the equipment is atleast the bare minimum.
