The rider is wrong for running, the cop is wrong for committing attempted murder, the passenger should sue both the rider and the police department for trying to kill her. I am sure the law is coming down hard on the rider (as it should), I just hope the law is coming down just as hard on the cop. Both the criminal and the cop made bad decisions, but criminals will always be criminals, cops are supposed to be trained professionals. Cops are granted their power by the public because they are trained professionals and should not make poor decisions like this! The cop needs to lose his badge at the very least and I think there should be criminal charges brough against him.
