My Turboed LS1 put out right at 600.... Thats 1.729. I have dyno sheets to backup. This is also a stock car from the factory. You have to build a 730 HP LS1 but then you could buy a new car with what it would cost. Been there, done that.
well, my buddy kyle on 12psi is making 810...so that's a bit better...all are still way off for real efficient motors...
any type of high revving turbo motor is going to spank a low spinning big engine in any HORSEPOWER ratio...
case and point my senior project 249cc turbo 4-stroke made 6.07 hp/in^3 and it was breathing through a 19mm restrictor per the rule books. Oh yeah, at 19psi.
I'm glad GM has finally caught on to the "import" game...5 years late and still FWD (FTL) but still better late than never.
