Default Steering rack question

I was looking under my car the other day and I noticed that I need to replace the two bearings on the steering rack. I know on a front wheel drive car they are called CV joints but I'm not sure if they go by a different name on a RWD and I may be describing this with some incorrect terminology but I have enough part names to remember with working on planes. Also how hard are those joints to replace? I have access to a garage with a press and most any part that I can think of needing. Thanks for the help.
