A/F ratio gauge stays...like I said...just something to fill the hole that was like 25 bucks haha.
Definitely see what you can come up with on that buzzer if you don't mind. I will be on like 20psi for a little while so I am not TOO worried about destruction, not saying that it won't happen
One thing I am dead set on is getting an Evo8 ecu in my car though. Just a project on the side I want to do and I know it can be done
Or you could just get a 2pillar pod instead of three
As far as thr IAT's, I did my cold air intake recently.
In case you were interested, go to home depo motorsports, pick up a 4x3" pvc pipe with a 90* bend. It will cost you like 7 bucks. Cut out the metal that sits right under the filter ( fairly easy to cut and once youve got it going you can even bend it out the way.)
Connect THE 4in side of the pvc pipe to your mas adaptor, and then connect the 3in side to your filter. Depending your intercooler routing you may have to manipulate things into place but it will work. Just make sure you have everything connected good so the filter doesnt fall off when your driving, happened to me once and rolled under my tire lol.
The broke person I am, I found a way to reuse the filter temporarily by bending it back into shape and stuff lol.
Well keep in mind about rain, i am going to make a splash shield and what not, and dont hit any puddles or boost when its raining, but other than that its a great mod... Theres been reports of people dropping 30 degs with just removing their right head light housing in front of the intake,
REMOVE your headlights at the track -20*F drop - DSM Forums
therefore I know this will gain even more since your putting the filter completley out of the hot engine bay... Expect 40deg temp drops, you will notice the difference...
Also to add, for those of us running smaller turbos ( i.e. 16gs etc )
This gain will benefit more as densor air getting drawn in will allow for more overall air to be compressed post intercooler, therefore more air flow especially in higher rpm/ pressure ratios. That would explain why i gained a 2psi spike after the cold air intake with changing nothing else !!!
Ill pm you pics of my cold air intake set up if your interested.
