The simple fact the guy mentioned he raced a Trans Am and beat it by 10 cars says something.. Stock Trans Am runs mid to low 13's. in the 1/4th.. They never mentioned what they ran up to or if they ran from a stop.. We know all the modified Trans Ams in the area and I cant think of one running better than mid 12's. .. So Slim is either running 12's or high 11's. This is still depending on what they ran up too.. I get all the import mags and I have to agree a 10 sec Honda is not streetable.. Weight does help a car move down the road and could give someone an incredible jump and the illusion that the other car is not going to catch them.. I am thinking we have not heard the entire story.. I am sure some kind of forced induction is in play here. Bring the gutted CRX out this weekend and call one of the modded f-bodies out. We will be out..
