all ive been seeing around lately on this board is the arguement of racing from a stop or a roll, and i thought that i would post my ideas on the issue. racing is seeing who can build there car and drive it well enough to race from a dead stop till the 1/4 mile mark. its all about knowing how to launch your car, shift quickly, reaction times, and knowing how 2 keep ur tires from breaking loose between shifts (if u hav that much power ). racing from a roll wont prove much since its pretty much just floor it and go. it doesnt require reaction time, and knowing how 2 drive ur car. it will prove who has the faster car but it wont prove whos the better racer, and this is all about racing so wud u rather b a fast racer or a guy that has a fast car. i personally hav respect for those guys that hav extremely powerful cars and will race any1 from a stop w/ out bitching or crying...why? cuz they are racers they built there shit to race wich includes time and parts into making ur wheels grip. those are true racers. after all why wud u want so much power if u cant control it? so grow some balls become a real racer and race from a stop...or wuts the prob?
