"With the Superbike, we have a mountain to climb, but we knew we did," said Hodgson. "We have to turn a street bike into a race bike. We've learned some stuff today. I said if I could get into the '39s I'd be happy and I was able to do a 1:39.2. I'm pleased with it because the bike is very stock at the moment."
