Like some of these other guys, I'm a do-it-yourselfer.

I've got my valve adjustment coming up, and I'm hoping the whole deal wont take me more than a day to do in my garage... and get it right the first time.

I mount and balance my own wheels...Sure I can take it to the shop and get it done cheaper, but I doubt the shop does a good job balancing the wheel/rim...AND most importantly, I dont think the shop inspects the conditions of the bearings when they take them down.

I changed my wheel last week and found that i needed to pack my bearings with grease again. A HUGE percentage of riders out there dont even think about such fundamental maintainance. By virtue of taking it to a shop that doesnt do this, Those bearings never see grease again in their lifetime.

Cost is not an issue when it comes to a shop. I understand you guys have bills to pay. What is an issue is speed and quality. No new scratches, no broken parts...you break it. you fix it.

I dont want some punk working on my motorcycle. I want a trained professional that has done the work before.

I want my motorcycle dealer to give me the same level of professionalism as any of the other Top of the line car dealerships.

Somehow i feel you're not really going to read this. Somehow I feel I'll be able to do my own valve/shim adjustment myself. somehow I feel I wont ever need to step into a motorcycle shop for mechanical work for the rest of my life.

I'll still by riding gear from you guys though...or parts..
