Saying that Daewoos and Kias are the same as Hyundais is the Korean equivalent of comparing the Corvette and Chevette or comparing Snap-On and Harbor Freight tools. Japan has it's share of car companies that produce cheap disposable cars as well. (remember Daihatsu?).
How many car companies can go from producing such atrocities as the Excel to being ranked in the top 5 in the US and offering 100,000 mile warranties in just over 2 decades? Also, take a look at the fit and finish of such cars like the C6 Z06 and Evo 8. performance aside, I'd much prefer the craftsmanship of a new Tiburon over the plastic snap-togetherness of a new Corvette.
When this car comes out you should expect it to keep up with or be better than a lot of the cars you guys nutswing on.
Just remember this thread when your raggedy-ass 240 is getting smoked by a Korean shitbox.
Finally, learn to spell.
