there is really no need for the bestbuy plan, microsoft has a 1 year warranty on the box, and a 3 year warranty if it gets the ring of death.....and its free....

on my 4th xbox now and so far no problems, my guitarhero2 randomly got a perfect scratch in it a few weeks ago and I thought the system was taking a shit again, but everything else has worked fine since then. Must've scratched it somewhere else and not noticed. My systems were lasting about an average of 3 months, but this last one I have had for over 9 months now without a problem.
