I bought a $1,200 laptop computer for work uploading/downloading security systems but the Windows Vista OS is not compatible with the brand software...so, I have this nice ass laptop just sitting.

My good friend's wife wants a laptop for work so he offered me a 351W (non-roller) bored .30 over w/ a C4 trans as a trade. It already has Fox-Body headers on it but has been on an engine stand for 4 years or more. He has been putting Marvel Mystery Oil in the spark plug holes once a year and turning it over by hand.

My question is, since it's a solid lifter motor, is this a good trade? I am new to Ford motors and definitely a n00b when it comes to non-roller motors.

Thanks for answering my questions lately, I know I have alot of them but it's nice to actually have knowledgable people answering them unlike 1/2 of the rest of the Ford/Mustang forums on the internetz.
