exactly. all though i do like mk3s, id rather just save up and get a car worth more than retail and is alot nicer. if your lucky you can even find a good deal on something worthy of being new.
Cars are generally a bad investment period. I'm never selling the MkIII so I dont give a shit what other people think its worth or what they'll pay for it
People underestimate how nice MkIIIs are because mostly poor people own them. Get one that was maintained and looked after...they are quite luxurious, stupid comfortable (which is why I put a seat from it in the Miata) and with anything more than straight pipes and a fart can, very quiet. I'd say it was engineered well, but most of the stuff under the hood WASNT
