DSM 450's are like $50, and you can get your ecu chipped with a base map for like $100. Is that $150 (minus what you'd pay for the fmu) really worth skimping on compared to the cost of a motor? Even with an fmu you need a fuel pump because the stock one can't handle those pressures. On low boost with bigger injectors you can even get by on the stock pump for a while since you only need 40 psi and not 140psi. Just something to consider.
